No photos yet, but I've just started 3 new Wif projects:
- A-50 Mainstay with AA missiles (probably in Aeroflot livery as used on at least one A-50)
- BAe-146 AEW
- BAe-146 VTOL for combat support (4 Pegasus, used as troop transport or gun/missile platform, probably some Mavericks under the wing)

Wicked !

All three sound wicked....can't wait !

Those BAe 146 types are really sweet looking a/c. Which reminds me, I need to take mine into work and paint it this week !

Awsome, they sound like brilliant projects. Your 146 AEW, what type will it be? Dish type or Phased Array plank type??? I did the plank type one based on the Swedish AEW radar.

The AEW version will use a dish, about the same size as the one on a Hawkeye. Not sure yet how I'm going to build the dish, though (it'll have to be scratchbuilt, but getting a dome that looks good isn't going to be easy).
Photos will come as soon as I've got something worth showing (I just started this weekend, all I have is a load of bare plastic).
I did see Lancer's 146 AEW here.

Hey Hobbes, I have my 146 AEW already painted with the dish on but I'm waiting for a replacement engine as the original suffered a bird strike (got lost when I moved house).

I'll race ya..................... :D

Race?   I've still got 4 a/c and two cars to be airbrushed, plus these three. I'll be lucky to finish them before Telford.

NARSES2

Does that mean you will be at Telford Hobbes ?

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Well, I sure want to. We'll see how it goes.

I've had GREAT success with RotoDomes made from cheap Dime store magnifying glasses...remove the crappy plastic handle and you have a crappy plastic lens...very radomey looking..scheck out my IRS Fowler as that was one of the first uses I'd done with one...
