Continuing to order the very cheap 1/144 models from Mini Hobby Models in China, I decided for the Saab AJ-37 Viggen this time. And it was so cheap that I bought two pieces, to build maybe a zwilling supersonic biplane, asymmetric a little.

Months ago, I considered buying a single copy, to transform this canard jet into a T-tail Javelin-like model, but the final one will be different as seen above.

The parcel should arrive in 3 weeks.

Wow: the parcel already arrived! Like if China was next door from Western Europe.
Here is the kits' content: <_<

Here were the parts I planned to use:

I have created an unexpected twin-fuselage plane 1/300 from 4 loads 1/144: <_<

The butcher helped to see what will be:

It seems this load is the Rb 04 missile, see https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235024261-saab-a-32a-lansen-with-rb04-missiles-helller-172/
So the related plane may be the Ribbon 04-X4, or else <_<

Adding putty to fill the holes that would have received the canards (before I changed my mind to locate them in the nose, more whif): <_<

The Ribbon 04-X4 is a very big airplane but at scale 1/300 this makes a tiny model: <_<

Going on with the main JJ-37Z Viviggen: <_<
- first sanding done
- half wings glued together (requiring PSR for the above one)
- half tailplanes glued because the canard ones have been cancelled, for a more whif project; TT-tail on the port side, V-tail on starboard side asymmetrically

Wow, that looks like a siamese/bimese VTHL TSTO RLV with twin crewed orbiters ;D!
Would be marching to the beat of his own drum, if he didn't detest marching to any drumbeat at all so much.

Thanks! I did not know this but Google found it at https://www.pmview.com/spaceodysseytwo/spacelvs/sld048.htm
I was actually more reminded of something like this https://www.pmview.com/spaceodysseytwo/spacelvs/sld045.htm as the point of departure for mirroring.

The supersonic biplane model (without final glue yet, because of poor access for painting) is taking shape: <_<

Of course, the rear fuselages are discarded (this is a model for shelves not for flying)  :-\
