After the F-20 and also 1/144 from Mini Hobby Models in China, I got another kit, and I am going to build a reduced-size MiG-23. Here is the kit content (all, for serious modelers, enjoying undercarriage, weapons and all):

The first idea was: either becoming canard or T-tail.

The huge problem I am facing is that the fin is sooooo long, impossible to cut the rear fuselage like I do usually, so... this will be a twin-boomer, asymmetric with the long fin on one boom (made from sprues), while the fuselage/pod will be very short as usual: <_<

I have started to apply glue and this supersonic asymmetric twin-boomer is quickly taking shape (I love 1/144 for that): <_<

Next step:
- tailplanes have been glued on the booms
- a little wheel has been glued under the pod (this is not for the "airplane' to land on the runway from the sky; this is for the "object" to stand on the shelf)
;)

It will not be painted, as grey is ok and there is no putty to hide.

The MiG-231 was a good model but... comrade Leonid said "I dislike asymmetry!", so it was redesigned in acute urgency before all engineers being sent to gulag

A symmetric version with two little fins was also built (in dreams, at least): <_<
