BTW: How would you name the sarracen plane? Scimitar? Cutlass? Kilij? ...?

Update: TABARZIN is the new name.

Scimitar would be the logical one as it is seen as the classic Saracen sword. It's also probably the most distinctive one as nearly all the others had been in use in the region since Byzantine times, probably earlier and had gained "western" names. So unless you know medieval Persian or Arabic (I don't  ;)) it gets complicated.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Google translate tells me "scimitar" is "موسيقي" (musiqiun) in Arabic and "صخره ای" in Persan (without written pronunciation). <_<
[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]

You might well find it's pronounced the same way, or very similar, as to the way we European's pronounce it Tophe. We simply took "their" word and translated it to a phonetic Latin (I presume at the time ?) spelling.

In our sister forum, someone suggested Tabarzin. AFAIK I think this name has not been used in any RW plane. So I would prefer this name.
