My real world builds are in 1/87 scale, down to 1/100 for ships. Taking advantage of the confinement I am working on an old idea. It's a demented enough project that I think can be shown here.
I had bought for a few pennies in some swap-meet an ancient Lindberg LCT kit, nearly completely built, and glue bombed.
Even if sometimes offered by Lindberg as a "D-Day LCT", it represents the post-war version, Class 1466, in 1/25 scale.
In my opinion, it's possible to build an 1/100 WW2 LCT 5 out of it.
I have enlarged the plan from Norman Friedman "U.S. amphibious ships and crafts", Naval Institute Press as reference.
Sorry I forgot to snap a photo before starting the carnage.

Now it's starting to look like an LCT again.
Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.
