While they've been around for a few years they've recently become better known because of their purchase of old Revell, Monogram, Aurora etc. moulds the "new" Revell din't want, and they've been steadily rereleasing the classics.
Per their Facebook announcement next up is the Aurora 1/72 AH-56 Cheyenne.

The SMER 1/24 Alfa on their site https://www.atlantis-models.com/alfaromeo1950124atlantis-1.aspx
That'll be the old Merit kit I presume?

SMER did run the Merit Alfa moulds for some time. and that was one of them with the whole engine detail as well.

IIRC the other was the Talbot-Lago.

That's classic in more ways then one

I do sometimes look back on the simplicity of kits back in the day with a wistful smile.

Been meaning to get around to building the Anigrand kit I have in the stash. Its nice though I prefer to use a plastic kit rather than a resin one.

If someone has spent big money on a resin model then the plastic one is a sure thing! The rest of us thank you!

The Cheyenne was a pretty basic kit, but it was the only one in town at the time.

I did one for my LHS in Oxford and kitted it out with some weapons under the wings, with the result that everyone who bought a kit complained that it didn't have any stores included!  :banghead:

Hasegawa hadn't done their weapon packs in those days of course.

It's happening, they're already doing test-shots from the cleaned up mould.
This is a re-pop of the old Aurora kit and like their other classic reissues
features the original box artwork.

IIRC, the AH56 isn't the most accurate of kits.  There was a Czech resin kit many years back by an outfit called Miku, I think.  I had one and compared to the Aurora kit there were quite a few similarities.

Ideal kit for whiffery though and I'll nab a pair.
