If I build one more Heller P-51D this year (50% probability), it will be probably a Triplex-Fin like this:

Recently, I ordered a P-51D kit, to make the Mustang Flapjack (not finished yet) but today my son wanted to go to the toy store, and I bought (a toy for him and) another P-51D for myself. So this will be, maybe faster than the Mustang Flapjack half-resin difficult build...

This looks awesome!
Only thing I would suggest is adding horizontal stabilizers or lean the outer two vertical stabilizers outward for pitch control. Kind of like a split V tail.

Good idea! while, uh... this may be too much serious for me, like "possible", maybe I will add asymmetry, with external fins oblique in the same direction: like top on the port side...
