Priming has begun, swearing and nail-biting will soon commence. The old Airfix Sea Hawk FGA6. It will have the all-weather radar as used by the Bundesmarine, but without the tall tail that totally ruined the lines of this elegant aircraft.

That was the first kit I remember building back in the day... With Mum's help, of course.
Painted with Humbrol Gloss Black over Yellow House Paint... Don't recall what happened to it, I think it 'went west' fairly quickly.

I have that kit half built on the bench right now. I'll be thrilled to see what you do with it. Maybe it will push me to finish mine.
