yeah don't I know it. Oh well, everyone here knows how much work has gone into it and that's what matters really. I'd love to stick an OOB version of this next to mine just to see the difference. I almost think that with the same paint job, you'd not really notice the extra details until you get closer, But then, that's kinda the whole point of this whole exercise

Greetings everyone
I know its been months since I last updated this thread, but TBH, I only go back to this every now and then when the mood strikes me. Over the past few days, it has. I have just about finished the right side of the top plate and am now starting on the left side.

The left side looks like the Eastern side of Australia - which was not intended

And just to give you an idea on how large this actually is:

As you can see, its not exactly small and is quite unwieldy at the best of times. However, no complaints as it's my own fault for making it so bloody big. I'll update again once the left side is done. Once that is finished, I can then paint it and get the lighting installed before final assembly  - which will be fun. Not
Thanks as always for your perseverance and I'll be back, one day, with more :)

Probably won't see it on the tables for a year or two yet.

I'd be lying if I said this would be ready for this years Expo. Optimistic at best for next year, probably, too, especially given the glacial pace this has progressed. I know I keep saying this, but I do want to get it done. It's like having an extra wife in some regards - always looking at me, judging me by my lack of enthusiasm at most times, nagging at me to just get it done already.
I'm hoping that it can retain my attention span for a little more than a week this time around!

That, my friend, is completely understandable from the viewpoint of we mere mortals, who might only tackle something of this scale, in this scale, at this level of detail in their wildest nightmares!  :o  :o  :o

More power to you, mate!

I was going to say it reminded me of the Eastern Coastline of Australia  ;D

Good to see it back

Some builds turn out all the better for that.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.
