I dunno if I'll really be able to finish the Fiat G.91 on time, but hopefully I'll be able to crank this baby out!

Thanks!

A bit more done.  Engine intakes are painted and glued in place and putty has been applied.  It'll be a challenge to sand such a small model, so I think I'll reply more on just washing off the excess putty and using a razor to slice the plastic ridges along the seam.

Thanks!

And I know what you mean! When that stuff gets that small about the only stuff that works are sanding films and sanding sticks and I still have problems.

I don't think the F-5 line of aircraft are all too popular on the whole but I absolutely adore them...

How could they not be popular?! They look like space ships even 40 years later!
Thanks!

Right?!?!  The whole look was ahead of its time... Then also, the hourglass fuselage shape was "helped to be pioneered" (bear with me, it's been a loooong day) on this line of craft. Then we have the neat stuff like Tigershark and X 29?!  Sign me up,  I love 'em.  And the whole shooting match has withstood the test of time kind of like the Hercules and B-52.

I cant wait to get my new Shin F-20. I hope it makes it here, period, (I'm still wary of ordering direct from Asia although last time it worked flawlessly, and with a much smaller item).

Drool...... it's such a good time to be  modeler and I'm glad I got back into it... I love seeing things like your project...  and I love the new kits and stuff available. There was I time I thought this was a dying hobby.

your off to a good start :)
i cant wait to see it finished.
will it be the classic livery from the manga or will it be the f-20 style paintjob from the 2004 tv series?
