Swept Wing He-162
« on: April 13, 2017, 05:23:10 pm »
I stayed up a bit too late one night working on a kit, only to discover the next morning that I glued the wings on backwards!! DO'H  :banghead:

Deciding to just roll with it,  I called this a new variant of the Heinkel He-162 Volksjaeger.

The base kit was Dragon/DML, in 1/72 of course.

That mistake turned out very well, i like it better with the sweepback and the work done on the engine also looks very good!

Yeah - I glued my wings on backwards as well - seemed to look okay at the time

And that's wrong?  :o

Not in here it isn't, it's called 'inspiration'.
Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
