Thinking ahead to the cold war GB I have realised that to build what I am thinking of I am going to need at least two sets of contra-rotating propellers.
Does anyone sell such a thing in resin?  Ozmods, Red Roo and Jay's (Tasman) don't.
I was hoping that the new Airfix kit would cause the price of Frogspawn Shacks to drop to a price suitable for buying one just for the props but it hasn't happened yet.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

You can try Aeroclub. They used to have several contraprops in their range (I got two of their Wyvern contraprops for a project).
They don't have a website anymore, the operation seems to have scaled back after one of the owners died.

Captain Canada

Check out Modelmaam on Ebay, they are in Vancouver but usually have the old Shak for cheap ! Sometimes in multiples as well so you could have props forever ! Or, with the way you build, about a week

Modelmaam have a pair of bagged Frogs but they are still too pricey.  Especially when postage is taken into account.

Hobbes, thanks.  I'll drop them a line.

Hopefully the price of Frogspawn kits will plummet to something resembling common sense once the new Revell comes out.

Aeroclub used to do white metal contraprops, Chris (NARSES2) saved my bacon with my MB8 as he sent me a set of them when the styrene ones kept on breaking.

IIRC they're designed for a Spitfire 22, but I'm not sure if you can still get them, Aeroclub being in an odd situation with manufacture and supply.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

For a Griffon engined Seafire I think Kit --- he does a set for the Wyvern and Shackleton too and I'm fairly certain there's another one, just can't remember it right now.

John Adams frequents Britmodeller forum quite often, and can be contact there.
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

Thanks blokes.
I've sent a message to the e-mail Hobbes lists above.  We'll see what transpires.

Spit, Wyvern or Shack props will all be great although for what i'm planning a set of Bear props might be most appropriate.
