I found these and have fallen in love with them.  Can anybody help me out with a 1/72 set?
Platz released them in 2009.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Thats the decal sheet but when I follow their links to their online hobby store it isn't listed.  I've sent them a message to see if they currently make them.
Hobby Link Japan have it listed as Backordered (which with them can mean a number of things from "there will be some in next week" to "about to be changed to discontinued").
I have also found a Dutch webstore that lists it (aviationmegastore.com) but it doesn't appear to be active.

I thought it was exactly the sort of thing somebody here might have sitting in their stash unwanted...

PM Hobbes, if he doesn't see this, as he might have more info on them
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

The Aviation Megstaore is well named, it's a HUGE place just south east of Schiphol Airport and I'd be very surprised if they're not fully operational as I had a newsletter from them just over a week ago.

They have a DC3 cockpit INSIDE the shop so you can tell how big it is!

Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Thanks Kit.  I registered with them but didn't receive the usual "welcome to XXXX" e-mail.
I'll investigate further.

<later, back at stately zen mansion>

Well i've investigated further and the website accepted my order tonight so a set of nice loud decals should be on the way.

Decals arrived today.
20 days from door to door isn't the fastest delivery ever but they did come a long way and postage was cheap and more importantly they arrived unbent, unspindled and unmutilated.
They look great but jeez there are a heck of a lot of stencils on a Phantom.

Modern Japanese aircraft always seem to be covered in stencils. Indeed many an F-15 model has been "spoiled" by it in my eyes, especially in 1/72. Others will hold different opinions and all are valid. Must drive the builder nuts as well so I suppose I do admire the perseverance

What an outrageous colour scheme!  :o

But then it is Japanese I suppose.  ;D

I have an F-15DJ to build in their Aggressor scheme which will involve my painting the aircraft and applying the normal decals including all the stencil's prior to masking off the stencil information so that I can paint the Aggressor scheme. Lots of work and probably why I have yet to look at the darn thing.
