I have made a couple of Unicraft kits in the past plus also one of their me262 conversions.I agree the parts need to be handled with kid gloves but generally I have reasonably good experience with them. Yes they take longer, yes you need to do a lot of PSR and yes you need to be inventive about adding detail but then I come from a time of vacuform kits for rare subjects and in truth the same patience was needed. Anyway I ramble.

I searched the What-if community for any other experiences with Unicraft and came upon this thread http://www.whatifmodelers.com/index.php/topic,37924.0.html by Tophe. 'Oh look' I thought 'I have one of these' and read with horror that though it is boxed as 1/72nd scale Tophe has correctly identified it as a much larger beast. So grabbing out of the stash and opening it for the first time... groan  :banghead: it looks nearer 1/48th than 1/72nd !

So as I only make 1/72nd kits this is now redundant. I paid £32.50 for it plus postage but if anyone is interested in trying a Unicraft and seeing for themselves how good or bad they are.

£15.00 including postage in the UK £17.50 anywhere else.

Unlike Tophe's copy mine only has the one fuselage / pair of wings but it does have the two tails single and double tailplane. No decals are included.

Dang ! Isn't always the way.  I am building (very slowly) a twin engined 109 in 48.  Logic would suggest the plane needs external fuel tank - the three engines would burn their way through the internal 109 tanks.

The image of your box is interesting in as much as there is no increase in the vertical stablizer.  I was having worries about how to do that - maybe I forget that bit.  Looking forward to seeing your camo.

Hi dumaniac

I'm selling not making ! Had it been nearer 1/72nd then I'd go for it but it would look so out of place !

Bungle.... ready to take any offers.
