Very interested in acquiring the eight bomb racks found within this kit (MonoRevell). I'm happy to pay any reasonable amount or I have three 1/72 kits to lose:

Meng                 Mansyu Ki-98
FineMolds           Kugisho R2Y1 Keiun
Special Hobby     DeH Hornet F. Mk. 3/4

All have some parts off the sprue, only the first kit has its box and the second kit is missing a couple of Hinomaru decals (but I've chucked in some others). All present otherwise.  Happy to swap the lot for the bombs.

ISTR I may have these floating around... let me have a look & I'll get back to you.

Cheers

I never noticed bomb racks on mine, but as that's slated to be a GRB-36J complete with an RF-84K hanging underneath any such racks will be superfluous. Should I go look for them?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Do you mean just the 8 sticks of bombs?

Like this:

Or the whole bomb bay frame/rack lattice?  Kit parts in gray , scratch in white styrene:

If just the sticks of bombs, happy to give them to you. They are surplus from my B-36 Crop Duster, and my other devious update plans do not include them.  PM me with a complete mailing address.

Many thanks to all for the replies. My mistake, I did mean the eight racks of bombs. Very useful when scaled up to 1/48 ...yep, still stuck in that scale; just can't let go.

Captain Canada

I had never seen those racks of bombs before....excellent ! I might  be picking up a half built kit from the US next week. Keep us posted if you get the bits you need.

General Lemay has authorized the flight and the B-36 has been loaded with the payload.  Target coordinates of Libranians mail box entered into the bombing/nav system.  Hope for good accuracy.

Great Circle range calculated from Portsmouth Virginia, USA to London at 3,726 miles one way- no problem with the Peacemaker's long range- just will take a while to get there....

Divert option Gander....  ;D

Once again, a big thanks to both Rick and Dave for their gratefully received racks. Both packages arrived safely today. My plans for a 'Luft/Japanese46' Vietnam COIN operation can soon proceed ;D.
