It was a standard option on Vickers tanks. The cool thing about these is that they were one of the most common export types in the world in the 1930s, so you could credibly give half a dozen to just about any little country for the sake of a whiff.

For that matter you could put them into British Service too !!!

I just took into custody two of the Renault FT-17 kits, one with the cast turret and 37mm, the other with the octagonal turret and Hotchkiss.  They look like very nice, simple models.  The only thing I'd say against them is that there are many sprue gates and some bits look a little a bit fiddly, but it's a good halfway house between the HaT model (easy to put together, but simplified detail) and the RPM model (wonderful detail, crazy amount of parts!).

I' tempted by the Vickers E....

I like this, it's something that might have served in Vietnam.  Or a custom conversion of a yacht on the Great Lakes if the US and Canada ended up at loggerheads.  To make it Canadian I'd need to simulate a lot of duct tape and scatter beer cans and bottles around it.
Oh great, now I have to buy one.
In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.

Absolutely, a very much "under-modelled" period.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Odd topic, but a good addition for dioramas etc. Melikes.

I think I will have to have one of those. It yearns for a T-34 turret in it. Or two
