Hi all,
As part of The Kittiwake Project I need a Seafire FR.47 contra-rotating propeller and spinner in 1/72. I spent last night looking all around these great Interwebs for one from an A/M company but without joy. My last resort will be buying a Ventura/JAYS Seafire kit but at the moment it's a bit of a waste just for the prop (and cannon).

SO! If anyone by chance has one spare - or can cast copies and has a master to do it from - please let me know, I'd be very grateful and happy to work out some sort of trade or payment.

I have an Aeroclub one spare.  Send me a PM with your address and I'll send it to you.

You'd be better off buying an AZ/Admiral/Legato Spitfire F21/22/24 or Seafire F45/46.  That would give you the contraprop, plus a spare Spitfire or Seafire into the bargain.  The highback ones have the original lowback parts spare, so you'd get part of another model free.

Thanks Lee, the issue is then getting it here (even more dollars for just a prop) and having another kit which I'll likely not feel like building! Thanks for the idea though.
