Callum's first genuine whiff - an Egglicopter
« on: March 20, 2015, 11:33:00 am »
Callum, our grandson, is now 7 (and a big boy).  You may remember his work from last year?  His latest effort is the EGGLICOPTER - This is his entry for the school's annual Easter Egg competition:
"Take an egg and decorate it in any way you like.  The egg may be real, plastic or paper."

We spent last night looking for inspiration and decided on an egg plane.  So we hunted through all my boxes and then in the toy box.  A small pile of parts resulted, a couple of kits and a broken diecast helicopter.

The parts - a box with 4 foam eggs (and paints we did not use), a broken helicopter, some milliput and some Humbrol acrylics left over from a starter kit.

First coat goes on

And the Egglicopter and its pilot Biggles Bunny - still needs his goggles and a flying helmet

His earlier stuff

The SabreJet of the Shark Squadron

The SabreJet of the Leopard Squadron
