It was announced last year for summer 2025 release. Great "what if" material. 😊. I can see at least one in Vietnam style camouflage!
I ve also got three of their C-133 kits and a pair of C-141B kits along with the NB-36H Crusader.

Roden are not shake'n'bake kits to be sure but, with a little effort they build well. What realky lets them down is the decals. They're abysmal. Basically disintegrate the minute you put them in water 🤬🤬.

Through bitter experience, I scan the decals into my laptop and print them on transparent waterslide decal sheet. Problem solved but, one shouldn't have to do this or, source aftermarket decals.

However, the quality of the kits and, imaginative subjects outweigh the poor quality decals. 😊👍

So something similar to this is possible to build using the XC-99 model kit.

I do that with every decal sheet and every kit I buy, just in case.

You can't tell how bad the decals are until you've tried one, and then it's too late.  :banghead:
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit
