The hangar interior is now painted and is ready to install. I have not made a complete hangar deck, but only those parts that are later visible.

The Flugdeckfrigatte needs some aircraft. of course, I first thought that I add some F35 to it, maybe I should also look for some (still unnamed) European build Naval multirole aircraft.
So I printed both aircraft and painted them. Still have to think which way to go.

Rubbish!

Go the whole hog! Build the entire hangar deck, including tiny PE ladders, gantries, etc., & crew! Because you will know it's all there! And, if you post pictures, so will we! ;D

@Old Wombat : I know I am too lazy to build the complete hangar. And I am glad that this is a German Navy ship and not a Reban spaceship, where I would need to build snack machines in 1/700....

So, a bit more work now. Added the hull extensions to it on both sides, also painted the underwater ship in red:

A first testprint of the island superstructure with a resin printer, to see if it is printable. Have to add some details to it now.

The propeller shafts were missing at the model, I think I had used them on another ship long time ago. So I had to print some new ones.

The new 3D printed prop shafts are now done.

Also working on the 3D design of the island a bit more. The basics are done now, its now time to add the smaller details
