Hopefully the price of the conversions won't be too exhorbitant. And that we've all got enough Airfix Viccie Tens to convert of course....
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

Idle speculation (and yes I know I've posted on another discussion about it being pointless) but do you think S&M have some thoughts about Airfix reissuing the kit ?
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

There are rumours going around the airliner modelling field to that effect. I asked them on the Airfix stand at Telford and they denied any such ideas, but would you believe them if they said they would make a brand new Swordfish?

Mike McEvoy had two of the Bristol RA6s built up at the Coventry Show. It's an AMAZINGLY small aircraft!

Thought it might be - makes you wonder why they didn't do it in 1/72nd.... still, they seem to be producing an "alternative V-Force" collection in 1/144th, so maybe it's to fit in with those?

I just noticed that S&M are going to release a Shorts Shetland flying boat in 1/144:

That's the second overlap with Anigrand. They are also going to release a Shetland
They also both have a Windsor.

A pity, there should be enough nice British aircraft to kit without duplicating each other.

Much as I'd love a 1:72 Princess (and there is a vacform kit out there), I would never have the space to build or display it. A 1:144 version would be much more manageable, and still impressive.
