Hmmm, any SHIP can be improved by adding longer wings too!   ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Modeling isn't just about how good the gluing or painting, etc. looks. It's also about how creative and imaginative you can be with a subject.

It was captioned 'RAF Light Strategic Bomber - 1971' and popped up when I was browsing a slot car forum! It looks like artist kicked off with two Lightning fuselages and added Tornado wings, then went on from there.

Interestingly in the far distance is a single fuselage version too, but maybe an escort fighter?

I'm darned if I'd ever manage to build it, but it's surely 'different'.

I think what they've actually done is turn two Tornado centre and rear fuselages through 90 deg, then blended the intakes together to make one early Tu-28 Backfire one. The fins are straight off an F-16. My inclination would have been to make it mid-winged rather than shoulder winged, with the wing torque box sitting between the upper nad lower intake ducts.
