USAAF´46. P-88 Starlight
« on: December 08, 2009, 04:21:19 am »
Here there are some pics -in-progress- about the last evolution of P-38. Some profiles i´ve seen in this forum, have inspired me to make this project.

Looks good so far, very nice looking aircraft!
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Oh my... this should be rather interesting.  How're you going to do the tail surface with that rear mounted jet?

Looking forward to more.

Hi again.

Stephane; no, my project is totally fictional, but; do you like it?.

Sauragnmon; about the problem of tail, i´ve moved up the horizontal plane of tail. I send two more photos where you can see it.

Tophe; the original kit is the old model of P-38 of Revell, the wings of a kit of Unicraft. The engine exhaust is a plastic piece attached to rear fuselage by putty.

Thanks to all

-_- Dear Pacopede, I recognize the cockpit/nose of the P-38, but to draw it for my fantasy Lightning site ( http://www.kristofmeunier.fr/#Sit ), I would need to know which Unicraft kit you were referring to, and where are the booms coming from? Thanks if you can help me celebrating your creation...

Of course Tophe. The wings come from the kit of Borokov Florow (and the horizontal plane of tail too), and the booms come from the kit of Fokker G.1.

Cheers
