Yet again the 'attach' business doesn't work. :(
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

It did, thanks. And yet again it appears now in your original post, frustrating....................

Yer welcome.
System glitches are a pain.
Earlier today I was kicked out back to the login popup when I tried to preview a post.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Of course the other thing you could do with the Roc is "normalize" it: take the turret off and give it guns (probably 8 x .303", given the date). You could shorten the extension between the engine and the cockpit to partially restore the CofG and usefully save some weight.

Interesting re-release from SH in what they are calling "The Vintage Treasure Edition". Cleaned up moulds, extra bits, refreshed resin and etch and some 3D printed.

Always liked the Fw 187 ever since I saw it in William Green's Warplanes of the Second World War series in the 60's (and I've still got them  ;) )

I built the origional kit back in the day but could be tempted with a re-vamp

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I always liked the Fw 87 too, much more a German Mossie than the Ta 154 to my mind.

More like a German Whirlwind - it was TINY.

Thought so myself until i checked the dimensions and I think the 187 is somewhere between the Whirlwind and the dH Hornet.  But yes, smaller than a Mosquito.

Looks like the kit is of the later two seater version.

The FW 187 is closest to the P-38
in terms of length and wingspan.

FW 187
L: 11.1m (36' 5")
S: 15.3m (50' 2")

P-38
L: 11.53m (37' 2")
S: 15.85m (52')

I'm all for the concept of the "Vintage Treasure" idea if it means we see this kind of subject again.

I'm altogether  not in favour however of loading them with extra bling like resin and/or p/e parts etc. I've never liked multi media kits and, that won't change any time soon.

My choice of course but, I'll stick (no pun intended) with the styrene parts. I like the 187 as a subject but , if I buy, the extra frippery gets fed to the bin monster! 😂
