Yup.

Congrats on the retirement, and especially losing the weight!

The MB 326 looks good in desert cammo, but also a bit "featureless"?  :o

I'm fitter now at 64 than I was at 34! Anyway, DA hope you are well.

that's cool. i've been keeping busy myself, going back to school to learn such goodies as Maya and Unreal engine, and should have a Bachelors in Simulation and Game Design by years end if all goes to plan.
i wont be joining on the bike trail myself, the Army gave me my fill of outside  ;D . but thanks to current courses, i've picked up a new hobby, making videos https://youtu.be/xU7qJi50BNA?si=tsctnAJ0Ah5aDy_Z

The important thing about retirement is to keep yourself busy. Doesn't matter what, just keep busy.

Enjoy it, you've earned it

Supermarine Spitfire Vb - 555th Fighter Squadron, 496th Fighter Training Group, United States Army Air Force, 1942

A bit of artistic licence with the NMF skin and Operation Torch markings on a 'real world' UK based training squadron with further artistic licence for the yellow bordered upper wing roundels although the wiki page for US roundels does state "but some units applied yellow borders on overwing roundels regardless".

NARSES2

Looks nice in that "simple" scheme

Looks very smart indeed, a model of one like that wouldn't turn a hair on our SIG Stand at Telford, except people would ask 'Why have you got an un-Whiffed Spitfire on there?'.  ;D

Supermarine Spitfire LF.5b (J 19B) - F8, Flygvapnet, 1944

This was my Bank Holiday Monday project that I couldn't quite finish off in time. This camo scheme was released as a 'what if' Finnish Spitfire skin by 'Cliff7600' and I've simply overpainted the roundels and added a red spinner. I was able to add back in some line and rivet details to the insignia and I had a lucky break with the tail numbers as they are stock Swedish Hunter Mk.50 letter decals. I really like this!

PR19_Kit

That does look very good in that scheme, oh yes.  e

Curtiss F13C-4 Seafire - VF-2, US Navy, 1944

Well, with this thread being 18 years old, it had to happen at some time. I've unintentionally made a repeat as I've done something very similar before but just clean forgot! It's my age! Anyway, this a 'what if' USN skin by 'Cliff7600' that he made for a Spitfire floatplane but it fits nicely on a Seafire Mk.III although I've noticed that the upper wing wheel bulges need a lick of paint. For the markings I just looked at some Hellcat profiles and copied one from VF-2 and used the SFP1 Dev A-Team's lovely USS Enterprise (CV-6).

PR19_Kit

I've always liked that USN 'Blue-Blue-white' scheme (I even painted my dining room in it once.....  ;D ) and it works REALLY well on a Seafire. Supper job Spinners.
