G'day Gang,

Here's another for the GB.  This is the Tamiya M3 Stuart light tank, modded into an armoured car.  I've also replaced the turret with a BRDM-2 unit, but added the antenna mount & MG pintle from the M3 and a spare hatch to dress up the otherwise plain turret.  Decals are OOB, and the camo is 'Tunisian/Sicilian'.

G'day Gang,

Here's what looks to be my final build for the GB.  It's a Leo II in Australian service, the premise being that we came to our senses and went along Leo lines rather than the M1 'refurbishments'.  I've added an M151 Remote Weapon Station, a new loader's cupola with a M249/Minimi/F89 MG and finally a SDATW pod & sighting system.  Those who noticed my earlier APC build will remember the SDATW being my own concept of a 'Small Diameter Anti-Tank Weapon', basically a guided AT weapon to supplant the Leo's 120mm.

Here's "The Devil's Saw" ("La Scie du Diable") , A French recon tank based on the German E-10. The gun was replaced with a 6 barrel 25mm revolver cannon and was used in Indochina and Algeria. The build thread is here

BOLO created by Kieth Laumer and continued by various sci fi writers after his death. Bolos start out as simple computer enhanced super tanks and evolve over about a thousand years into completely autonomous ,intelligent ,self directing land battlships capable of engaging spacecraft in orbit. BUT STILL HAVE TREADS.

Greg has a OGRE build going on.  Not really a BOLO but kind of the same idea.
I have always wanted to do a BOLO but most of the book cover designs just look wrong.  There are a couple nice looking ideas out on the web (Google BOLO).  I might try 1 of these designs but it won't be any time soon.

Hog, brilliant!  I built a 13th -15th century crossbow of hardpine and amaranth about 10 years ago. Next time I get home I'll post pictures.
Both those builds frankly  give me plastic wood.
