Missing a Merlin TSR2 part

I just bought a Merlin TSR2 off eBay.   Before you all howl at me - YES, I knew what to expect.

Unfortunately, it is missing a major part.  The seller is trying to locate it but is not hopeful. 

While he is looking I thought I would try a long shot. 

So, does anybody have this part to spare, please?   Or to lend to me to try to make a replica as it's not that complex a shape.  I marked the missing part on this pic I found on the web.



(Please, do not bother with any jokes along the lines of: 'you can replace the missing part with any of the following - a block of wood, a lump of molten plastic, a chunk of brick, a dog t#rd or whatever...............'.)
