1/72 Su-27 Kits

There's a 1/72 Su-27 kit by "Shanghi Dragon" on EBay, is this moulding any good?  Is it related to any other moulding out there?

I'd guess they're a rebox, possibly from Italeri given Dragon's connections there.  That said, I hope they're not some bodgy Zhengdefu knock off or the like?

I think Airfix's Flanker is still the most accurately shaped 1/72 kit (amazingly).

Shanghai Dragon never did a 1/72 Flanker.  Are you sure it's not the 1/144 boxing mislabelled?

UPDATE: I found it on eBay.  Wow, that's strange.  I've never heard of it!

I've just spoken to Ken (aka Flankerman, the greatest authority on Su-27s in the known universe) and he hasn't heard of this either! I suspect that it's a reboxing, but whose is anybody's guess. And like Jennings says, the Airfix/Heller kit (although fairly horrible to build) is still the most accurate 1/72 Su-27.

I think Airfix's Flanker is still the most accurately shaped 1/72 kit (amazingly).

Just a damm shame the way they have buggered up the front undercarridge and how it goes together
