Just arrived from Roll Models....two 1/48 scale Dragon Fw 190D-12s, one of the new release Eagle Cal decal sheets for the Dora, two books, some paint, and a Fw 190D-9 PE set.

The D-12 kits are nice, but there is a flaw in the mold in the fuselage extension plug that leaves an overlapped panel line where it should be smooth. They did a poor job of grafting on the Ta 152 tail onto the regular Fw 190D-9 fuselage. It is fixable but it would have been better to not have the error in the first place. I am working on one of the Fw 190D-12 kits now and like it so far but the PE parts are the harder steel parts and not as easy to work with as the PE in other brands of model kits.
By the end of the year there might be as many as three D-12 what-ifs finished.  -_-

Well, I got my NAW-10 but it had the wrong decals.  Ordinarily it wouldn't be an issue except for the fact that the decal sheet also had the instrument panel decals!  Have written to the place I bought from to see if I can get that sheet replaced.
