Really cool, but why guns and ALCMs?  I wold think a C-25 gunship would be better off with a lot (like 30+) SDBs or Hellfires under the wings.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Hmmm, like the idea.  How about an AC-17, or even an AC-5???  An-124/225 gunships, A-380?????  :jawdrop:  B)
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

That was posted here some time ago but vanished - thanks for reposting the picture.

I have also seen a bomber version of the A340 but can't find it any more.

There is a patent for placing ICBM missiles in either B747 and A380 . Naturally the missiles can be airlaunched or it would not be half as fun ....

That was floated LONG before the A380 was a gleam in Clement Ader's eye.  Well, maybe not Clement Ader, but you know what I mean.  Boeing (with the 747), Lockheed (with the C-5), and McDD (with the DC-10) all proposed ICBM airborne launch systems in the 1970s.  It was a silly idea then too!

Don't forget the short lived AGM-48 Skybolt air launched ballistic missile from the 60's.

There were proposals to launch Skybolt from a HS Trident development too.
