I considered de-viggenizing a Viggen, with a conventional layout .Will probably look a lot like a Phantom afterwards - but it will be a major surgery stunt and require good ingredients. Esp. the tail has been causing headaches for years.

An Aussie TB sounds great! Anything in Australian or Kiwi service. NZ already had Skyhawks for a while, that's pretty whiffy and it was RW!
Draken, Viggen and Grippen lineage sounds cool too.

Rather than limit the Swedes to Australia/Kiwiland, give them the whole Southern Hemisphere to play in.

Not my intent; but if that floats you longship, why not! 

My idea was more along the lines of "What if the Swedes sold their aircraft to ..... (Southern Hemisphere nation)".
