Paint and decals for the last project.  Hope to have the paint on in a few minutes.....

Simple answer is no but it will be.

Just going to do my one VIF Wif and bring a couple of others. Mainly working on the "Brochure" at the mo.

Finaly did Wookster use the word planned or are my new specs playing up  ;)

Some painting to do and resultant decalling.
Two models to begin.
Out Tuesday night (Alice Cooper/Motorhead at Sheffield) and Thursday night (vampires Rock at Nottingham) and Friday morning at a local school, where I'm appearing as Henry VIII for their History Day~The Tudors. I've promised not to mention his syphilis or penile disfunction (well, not to the Nursery kids, anyway  )
Friday evening...pack everything up for an early start on Saturday.
Rockin'
The "Squeaky Chicken" is ready as well.

I'll be bringing a model or 2 along on the sunday - the Swedish Merlin is almost done (4 years in the making!)

Nick

You must be joking! I've got today, Sunday, bits of Mon/Tues/Weds morning/evenings and Thursday which is also when I need to pack my bags too.

Still to do....

Hawk: can't be bothered.
Hind: too small and fiddly to deal with painting!

J-10: decals, final painting and weapons
P.1127: final painting, decals, wheel attachment
Stanier 9F: complete gluing, painting and decals (unlikely)
Shinkansen: finish painting and decals (most likely finish! :D )
Sanger spaceplanes: decals and some painting (possible)

Anything else that makes it is a bonus.

Model wise, i think ive done all that im likely to have done in time. im now concentrating on sorting out the powerpoint slide shows for the Profiles off the site. Jennings work is sorted, Mavs is next up.  its only taken me 4 hours to relearn how to use win 98 and the older version of PP on this old coal fired Laptop ive borrowed off my brother for the show.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Well, let's put it this way:  I'll have worked 12 hour shifts (with an hour commute each way) Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, slept Monday, worked Tuesay night, slept Wednesday, then driven 4 hours to Washington on Thursday, gotten on a plane, flown overnight, arrived in London at 0100 my time, waited four hours to pick someone up, driven 3 hours to Telford, *then* started having fun at SMW on Friday afternoon.

I'm anticipating exhaustion :)

Nice one , Jennings!
Exhaustion is great....there's lots to sit and talk about though.

Busy day today......I cut my losses as the Connie needs more time than I've got, so as it was RAF anyway, it's packed away until next year. A shame, but the box is that bloody big it means I can't lose it, and at least it's safe.

busy day....weathered a 1/48th Crusader Spitfire XVI (Teutonic Knights) to an absolutely disgraceful extent. Decals this evening.

.....completed the assembly (begun last night) of a Trumpeter 1/72nd F-107. It's modified into an RF-107C of the ANG, and if not for the USAF SIG (if they want it) for us. Not a bad kit, easy in fact, with a bit of filler and creativity, it'll be a stunner, I hope, with additional fuel tanks, pylons, etc.. The camo scheme planned is wraparound SEAsia, all very weathered and battered. I'm priming it in black tonight, so that painting can be completed tomorrow.
Weathering Tuesday, decals etc, Wednesday. B)

In a bit I'm going back up to my room to continue with the Crusader Knights Templar Leopard I (a bit of weathering on the turret) and the MiG-37.

Good this modelling ain't it.

Just decided.....the RF-107C is to be natural metal...cor!!!

Decisions, decisions.
Primed in black after all as my F-100 natural metal decals....in fact my bright USAF decals altogether, are rather neglected! I've more in SEAsia colours, so I'll probably go for some based on an F-105, the '107s competitor.
Going up to paint the uppersurfaces in a minute, another coat later and full weathering tomorrow!
Then it's build time (today) for another F-104C(VTOL) for the USAF SIG...this'll be ADF Grey and more stuff on the MiG-37.
Feeling quite prolific at the moment. B)

And to answer Narses from another thread......what was the shop assistant like in Waterstones? The one I saw stacking shelves in the Cardiff Branch had a tight black sweater  black tights    and tight tiny red hotpants      . Well worth brousing, I can tell you
