But...love your idea.  Alfred Price's book "Harrier at War"dealing with the Falklands is excellent.  I have a copy and if you can give me a week or two would be happy to send some scans if there is anything that you can use.

I have decided not to include Falklands Harriers in this lot as they have been covered very well by others, but I really appreciate the offer!

I think the Osprey book on the Balkans also has lots of reference material on Harrier markings in that theater.

That would be great. I primarily want to concentrate from the Balkans campaign right up to Ops in Afghanistan.

Another reference that springs to mind might be an archive of some of the weekly news mags back from the appropriate periods.  I don't know how much you will find from the Balkans or 'Stan, but there was a lot of stuff published back during and right after the FI war. 

I seem to recall in Air Forces Monthly there were some Brit Harriers with ridiculously large bomb and rocket markings on them?

Also some silhouette nose art? I wish I had more money! Then I'd be able to actually buy these mags instead of begging other people to scan stuff for me!  

And finally...you might try here .  Maybe you cold ask if anyone has current/past photos they would be willing to share.  Some of the folks on that board have flown/maintained Harriers in various conflicts and may be willing to help out for the distant promise of a pint.

I had a look at the site. I got the impression that it was for ex-Military only?

Can I ask one question...if you do this is there any chance of some RAF whif markings?  Maybe special scheme and anniversary markings printed to fit different aircraft, such as 75th anniversary squadron markings to fit the whole fin of an F-105 or F-111?

Hell yeah! That is one of the main reasons I want all this Trademark stuff sorted. I have my own ideas on what RAF TSR.2 aircraft should look like, but can't obviously release anything without being threatened. I've got many, many ideas for "Whiffed" RAF and RN stuff! Plus there's a heap of stuff on this site that I could do if I got the go ahead from the artists in question. That is of course after I get the OK from Big Brother.
