I've got one in 1/72 scale!.  It's a Santos vacu-form and is kit #2 of only ten made!!

Lovely photos BTW, What size is the KTM
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

Captain Canada

But the roundel looks French or Italian ?

What probe would that be Thomas, I don't see one.

She's a 2-honey. Sweet little ride. Not as much power as I'm used to, but it's so light and nimble, and it's been lowered for my little legs as well !

I'd be willing to trade it for your Argus kit......

;)

Thanks for the comments !

The first shot shows just the nose of the AWACS and you can see the tip of the refueling probe.  Between that and the CFM56 engines, I'd say it has to be RAF unless the French variant also has the refueling probe.

Nice pics.

I can say for certain that isn't a RAF AWACS, they don't have glossy paint. Also there seems to be a roundel below the rotodome with a number next to it. The RAF E-3s have their roundels on the forward fuselage with unit colour bars on either side of the roundel.

The RAF AWACS fleet is split between 8 and 23 Squadrons with one unit's markings down one side of the aircraft and the other's on the opposite side. Looking at the right side of the aircraft as the picture shows us, we should be seeing a 23 Sqn. marking on the vertical tail, whatever that marking is, it isn't 23's

I would have to conclude it to be French.
