Yes for sure. Thanks for sharing.

I saw a lovely little Tiger Moth when I drove past the Edenvale Airdrome on Sunday. Looks like a neat little place !

Always nice to see their sacrifice was appreciated.  Was there a ceremony on the day?

I'm not sure - I was there late in the day, after work. There was a new wreath and bouquet though, so somebody had attended.
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

Got a few nice buzzes by the Enbridge Pipeline chopper today...no piccies tho as we're in the plant and sometimes it's hard to yard out the big lens when there are 'eyes' everywhere !

Saw this on the way home from work today. It was pretty close to the town I live in.

I don't think it was an actual funnel cloud as there was no sign of rotation. Still was enough to make me stare for a few minutes to be sure. It fell apart as it moved off to the east.

I had a Chinook and a Merlin chug over the archery field this evening going about their business.

CASA C-295

And a little later a couple of F/A-18s. The second Hornet made some snaking turns, to get a little further back for landing, I think.

Captain Canada

Saw a dark chopper flying up the river....the things you see when you don't have your camera ! It looks army olive, and the shape of a Kiowa. However, there were a few glints of sun off the windscreen, leaving me to believe it was a Lakota. Either way, the camera is going in the bag tomorrow !

Over Derwentwater this afternoon, four pairs of Typhoons.......very noisy and about 500 feet up.

The neighbours had a visitor over today:

Actually they had it over and over and over because of touch and go practises.

Edit: my apologies for the size of that last pic.

Actually, nice detail shot of the underside. Lots of extra lumps and bumps under there.

Exactly! Are they on the RAF Sentries too?

had a ring side seat to a full display from a DH Venom this afternoon while on the range. The airfield next door has a 1950's themed  festival going on this weekend.
I always hope for the best.
