Since we've been on the property (12 years now), they've never got closer than a field away with the spraying, although their flight route does take them over the property quite often as they have to get lined up for the next pass correctly.

But we've often 'smelt' the results, depends which way the wind is blowing. I'm not sure what the effects on humans are, the dusting has been done for years and the locals seem to be all OK  (twitch, twitch, twitch   ;D )

Do their kids grow taller or shorter?  ;)

That's so cool, dude!! I love crop dusters...      hearing them off in the distance swooping and turning as kid is some of my favorite memories.

A few days ago a Cirrus Vision jet flew over the house.

What charming little aeroplanes those Cirrus are!
All I can offer today is a single Chinook going round (and round and round) in ellipses over  Tidworth garrison at about 6:00pm this evening.

Indeed, very attractive
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Heading eastwards over Northants this morning was a Jet Provost T4, of all things!  :o

Unfortunately it was in silhouette so I couldn't see the scheme, but it was a most unusual type to see these days. There can't be more than 3-4 of them left flying in the UK!

Yes, very pretty.

Interesting, that the He-162 engine pod arrangement has made a comeback.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

While standing outside in the sun (!) on Saturday I heard the growl of a couple of big piston engines.

Thinking it may have been the P-51 and P-47 from nearby Sywell,  I searched the skies only to see two Spitfires in a 90 degree bank, one a Mk IX and the other a Mk XIV or XIX.

GLORIOUS!

In Carlisle again looking after elderly mother/mother in law (both over 90) but managed a day off to go into the Lake District. Several Hawks over Derwentwater and a very smoky Hercules over the Solway heading towards West Freugh. Now that regular air services have started from Carlisle airport, my mum reports the 9:40 am to Belfast over her house every weekday morning.

Early yesterday afternoon, three Canadian CF188 Hornets came over the house, breaking into the circuit here at Prestwick. They were accompanied by a CC150 Polaris (Airbus A-310 tanker). Don't know whether they are heading east or west, but they were noisy!

To-day the three CF188s departed, looked like they were heading east. Yesterday they were downwind right hand, breaking to land on the easterly rwy. which brought them over the house.
To-day PWK was on westerlies so they took of with a left turn out which yes brought them over the house again.

Captain Canada

Pair of LC-130s flew over today, heading from NY to Christchurch, for their annual deployment. Pretty sure the first one was an old-school H, loud and low ( too cloudy to see her ) the second one, was definitely sporting the new 8 bladed props.
