Neat.  Makes me think of some of the odd concept cars that came out of the auto shows in the '50s.

I think that I had a '65 Chevy Malibu painted that same color. . .

Have a good look through this site Steve, especially the Auto, GEM & PRT sections for some fantastic car concepts from the 50's & 60's, plus a few others.  The rest of the site is great too, a glimpse into the future of transportation from the past!

Lovely model & well exectued, the finish is fantastically smooth!  Thanks for posting Sisko, this model is all about having a bit of fun!
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Wow, somebody has the whole PSR-and-gloss finish down to an artform!
Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.

Sweet!   That is well done.

In somewhat the same vein, someone in the Seattle area IIRC took the 1/72 PT-109 and a 1/24 PT Cruiser and kitbashed them into a 'PT-Cruiser'.
