what if any options kit wise do i have for building this one? it doesn't especially matter if it is 1/48th scale either.

could for example the RoG [Matchbox] sea venom in 1/32 be converted?

Quite possibly the Revell 1/32nd kit could be done, but I don't know enough about either the kit or the aircraft, except that:

;) the Hobbycraft 1/48th Vampire NF.10 looks nothing like the real thing, and even less like the completely different Venom.

:o Classic Airframes might do a Venom nightfighter at a grossly inflated price.

The original Matchbox issue of the Sea Venom had alternate parts for an RAF Venom NF. IIRC the main differences are in the cockpit, canopy and the tip  tanks (Dependant on the NF variant)

I have a conversion article somewhere for the 1/72 as well
It's not an effing  jump jet.

Trevor,  I have a couple of Aeroclub 1/72 Venoms, a Mk.1 & Mk.4 (in injection too)
but looking on their website they don't seem to be available anymore.  If you could find one of these kits and an old Frog/Novo/Eastern Express Sea Venom you could do a kit bash.

I think Aeroclub did the Venom in 1/48 but I can't quite remember now.

There's a 1/48 ki due soon from Classic Airframes, a NF.3.  Going on their others it'll be £30.

Trev, Eastern Express do a Frogspawn Sea Venom in 1/72, no idea what it's like.  If it's close enough, you should be able to get away with fairly minimal work, at least I think so!  A little chop to tail ahould be the main thing.

Knowing Frog the canopy will probably be crap, Aeroclub do a vacform for the Sea Venom.  There's etched sets from Airwaves & you've got several after market options for the MB Mk.2 bang seats.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.
