First up, near and dear to my heart, the choppers:

A nice IDF OH-58D

A USMC Comanche

I loved this - a wheeled KV-2

And a Landmaster that was just slightly bigger than a Matchbox car

Then the obligatory German stuff

And finally a B-17/B-2 hybrid

GTX

Somedamn fine and very creative wok there - anyone we know?

Regards,

Greg

That's B-2-17 is so odd...
King Arthur: Can we come up and have a look?
French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.

I like the German "whiffs"- one word cannards

I also liked the B-17 given the B-2 treatment. B)

Thanks for sharing Rotor,

The German canards were quite nice, I would've moved the cockpits further forward tho m'self.

Great to see someone else did their RAH as a Marine bird.

The KV-2 on a Saladin? chassis?  I wonder if it's got a big arse stand to fold out when it fires from the side like the Stryker MGS?

Great pics all in all, but the B-17/2.. OMG... someone was on some gooooood sheeet when they thought that one up!!

That's what I thought too, when I first saw it. A head-on view showed it had a KV hull and glacis, so just the running gear was changed. Unfortunately, I didn't get more photos of that one......the walk-ways and display tables were crowded, and I was trying to use a tripod, so it was difficult to maneuver around.

I like that German jet canard!
Would have been better if the cockpit was more forward.

Oh yeah....some nice stuff there ! I love the choppers as well. especially the Comanche. Sure looks sleek in those colours. Too bad those bumbling idiots at Boeing milked it for so long........

I also like the KV-2. Looks great, and what a weathering job !
