Well, this is the project that I've been staring at on my bench for the longest time.  It's done and now sitting opposite my USMC A-10 on the shelf.

Hope you all like it.

Here's a quick shot of the underside with the cannon and missile racks:

Nice job!!

1/48 OV-10 + 1/72 V-22, right?

One thing I wonder about...how about a turreted cannon to give 360 degree fire coverage in the hover?

Also, I agree about the wasp-like look to it.  Very menacing.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Been looking forward to this one all done.  Looks like an angry Doberman in that front on shot, it'd bite you as soon as look at you!  Very nice!

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

very interesting build up.  I enjoyed your MARPAT Hawg, and this one looks nice as well.  What kit(s) did you use to build this?

Sierra Hotel to the nth degree, super sweet build.  I wonder if a 72nd Mohawk & 144th Osprey could be done like it....?

Thanks, everyone, for the kind words.  This was a project that was interrupted for a lot of reasons, but I had a good time working on it and coming up with fixes for the innumerable problems and questions that arose during the process.

A 1/48 Roden Mohawk and 1/72 Italeri Osprey were the donor kits, along with a lot of putty, styrene of various types as well as the Hellfires and racks that I was fortunate enough to get from another modeler.

I'm happy with the results, and it makes for a unique addition to the collection.
