Ian the Kiwi Herder

A few folks said some quite nice things about the cockpit photos that I posted of my Monogram F-20 - Embarrisingly for me, the pics showed the cockpit at its' most basic, just the panels painted and before the dry-brushing and detail painting.

So here's a few shots of the work so far.









Here's the cockpit with varying levels of dry-brushing. The IP is just placed in for the photo. You can start to see the raised detail beginning to 'jump' out as the dry brushing progresses.






Now the more prominent switches have been picked-out with light grey, white and red. Including the two firing buttons on the stick. The MFD's still need the Tamiya clear green adding which I'll do tomorrow.

If the canopy was going to be open, I'd add things like the parking brake handle in front of the stick and an oxygen hose snaking in from the rear bulkhead. But the canopy is going to be shut so I'll bow to laziness on this one !
