I am glad you're back!!!
Is that with buffable paint the finish you managed to obtain in that engine?

Man, I need to learn how to make solid camo.

love the engine (and wiill mail order some of that rattlecan today), love the fact that it's a meteor (one of my favourite planes).

does the kit come with a pilot?

Panzer that's some really nice work, especially on the engines! That kind of detailing is the mark of a pro. There's not many camo schemes sexier than Gray/Green over Sky. I'll be loking forward to seeing this one completed!

Thanks for the compliments gang and to answer your questions
1) Is that with buffable paint the finish you managed to obtain in that engine?
Yes I used Tamiya Model Master Buffable Alumnium laquer in the aerosol "Rattle Can" spray paint
2) does the kit come with a pilot?
Yes the Tamiya Gloster Meteor F1 in 1/48 comes with a nice pilot in very obvious RAF flying gear
The kit itself is I would have to say the Best IMHO kit I have ever built Great detail ,Awesome fit Idid NO filling of seams (although I now notice a very lil one on the underside and nose) and it's a Tamiya "Shake box & remove Completed Model" kit all in all a quick and easy build
And Brian if you like the meteor I'm working on an A-10 In the same paint scheme with D-Day Invasion Stripes

The Testors Model Master enamel I used was RAF Sky type S, most of my enamels are Model Master while my acrylics are a mix of tamiya,Model Master & various Craft brands
