You are going to shake this forum big time, Matrixone!!!
Incredible how little kits become works of art!!!

Is the schwalbe-like bird a schwalbe? (with you, one never knows)

And I specially like the long winged He-100.
OK, one kitbash, or a kit?. It is beautiful!!!

And the teaser, Oh, man!!! the cockpit panel in that -87G Is that Ernst Rudel's mount?

I'm looking forward for these builds.

Thanks Rafa and Rat!

Rafa,
The Me 262 is the clear nosed bomber version (two crew members) and is being built from the MPM kit which Greg was kind enough to send me. There is still a lot of putty and sanding left to do on it yet.
Yes the old Monogram Ju 87G kit will get Rudels markings...I don't care much for doing ''Aces'' planes but I have a decal sheet already and the kits decals are decades old and are not usable so this Stuka will be Rudels. At least this airplane was very filthy looking in the pictures I have of it and I will get a chance to weather the model more than usual. This model is taking longer than expected to build mainly because of the seam lines, I don't remember this kit being that bad when I built it as a kid! :o

Rat,
Yep, this high altitude He 100 H-1a will get a T-tail, Baz was the one who sent me this old Lindberg kit in the first place so the least I could do is make a T-tail whiff out of it, I hope he will like both the idea and the model when it is finished.
There will be a lot of work getting those wings to match up with that tiny fuselage...PSR,PSR, and more PSR.

Woah that's some great work so far, Matrixone! I really like your modifications to that He-100! A T-tail is somehow such a natural fit for it! Personally, I think you should go for the trifecta and add maple leaf roundels and spats!

Didi I mention that I love spats?

Speaking of which, would be possible to see those very cool Stuka spats please? That's the best feature of that aircraft if you ask me.

I am very interested in seeing how that clear-nosed Schwalbe turns out. The idea of giving it a bombardier position is so appropriate as Hitler ordered his fleet of 262s to be used specifically for bombing.

I will be anxiously awaiting further updates.

P.S. I don't know about your "Project X" but my last "Project X" involved a blonde, a red-head, assorted latex products and a cheap  video camera. ;)

Thanks Jeff and Brian!

Jeff,
Project X is in the paint shop now, I expect it to be finished sometime this month. The weathering on it will take one weekend to do.

Brian,
The spats are not assembled yet, I need to paint and weather the wheels first. As you can see in my pics there is still a bunch of PSR left to do on that Stuka, next weekend I might have most of the airframe assembled including the spats...will post pics then.
I think your ''Project X'' sounds far more interesting tham mine! Wanna trade? :D

Love that Lindberg He-100
Looking forward. You never disappoint me.
Will die without understanding this world.

Thanks ysi_maniac,

Not much progress on the He 100 the last few days, the Me 262 and Ju 87G has occupied most of my modelling time because of a lot of PSR...but the extra work will pay off later on.
Also taking up some of my time is my Projekt X, I painted a base coat on it and did the pre-shading on it, next weekend I expect most of the major camo painting to be finished and maybe the markings too. The REAL fun will be the weathering because I intend to go 'over the top' on this one and might ruin the whole model but what the h***, its a whiff! And I am having fun with it anyway so the JMNs can stuff it sideways if they don't like it. :)
