Nice looking Viper Chadders.

As for the movie...well I must admit to enjoying it a mindless fluff, but on second viewing I wondered why they didnt even TRY to get some details right.

Like:

Why call a Harpoon an AMRAAM?

Why attack a bloody great spaceship with AMRAAMs anyway?  I mean really, what the hell is a 30lb frag warhead going to do to it in the best of circumstances?

If you're going to build mockup ejection seats anyway, why not crack a book and make them look a bit like Mk 10s?

And why are those RAF chappies not the least bit concerned about their colleague who keeps fondling his sidearm?

But anyway, nice job making a better looking RAF Viper than Hollywood could.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

QuoteVery nice!  Now I have a goofy question: What is the sort of "webbed" looking thing on your nosegear in the 3rd photo of your model?  Almost looks like a cut-out photo.  Or is it just a cobweb?

If you love, love without reservation; If you fight, fight without fear - THAT is the way of the warrior

If you go into battle knowing you will die, then you will live. If you go into battle hoping to live, then you will die

Not a plane that does it for me but nice job!

Independance day a movie that one would watch for no other reason than to see stuff blow up.

Make sure that your sub woofer is on! B)
Get this Cheese to sick bay!

NARSES2

Never noticed the unit markings before in the film - which is one I can quite easily enjoy by the way
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Kewl, I know the guy who supplied the mock up that you used as the basis and trust me yours is more detailed than his ;) he owns Producers Air Force supplying Raptors for Die Hard 4 right now but he want to sell the business if yer interested.

here's the real thing and some more here

I invite all and any criticism, except about Eric The Dog, it's not his fault he's stupid

Leigh's Models

Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.

Howard of Effingham

hmm, in the photo that you have posted from the film chadders, you can see the
RAF aircrewman with a sqn patch on the arm of his flightsuit. i wonder which sqn it
is supposed to be?  ^_^

 nice model mind you and nice concept.

btw, i have checked the ukserials website and it seems that WS690 the serial on
the tail of the  :f16: was 'first' used by a AW meteor NF12 from 1953 to 1959.

seeing how long the  :f16: has been in service now it seems to been around almost
as long as the meatbox.
