Hi all, another couple of quick shots, all shaded and ready for paint. as i said in an earlier post i am just stunned at the way this thing has gone together!! the fit was so good that  the seam lines were sanded back with 800 wet/dry then i was able to polish them with tooth paste to get a perfect invisiable join.

That is going to look sharp as get-out. One thing started late last year was using white glue with talcum powder mixed 50/50...give it a whirl in place of the toothpaste...it holds up better. (downside, you can't sand it )

That's what I love about these new 1:12 scale aircraft kits----so detailed that even the cockpit dials can be read.

[Still reeling from the notion that this is the same kit as my own MiG-21 in progress; I could show you my cockpit as proof of just how much better Bluntie's is but I don't want to embarrass the poor guy]

And here she be fresh out of the paint department,i'll let it sit for a couple of days and harden up then i can go over it and fix the fingerprints and overspray, then mask and spray the markings ,add a little bit of weathering, fix some more fingerprints ...
