Don't know where you call home, but all you need to do is get a hold of some KOKU FAN books fom anytime over the last twenty years. It's a monthly Japanese language publication with truly superb photography and always has some feature on the domestic military and civil aviation scene.

Highly reccomended.

I did a 1/144 scale Vigilante a while back, but only guessed on the markings.  I look forward to seeing what you come up with!

If there's something specific you're looking for in JASDF Phantoms, let me know.  I bought a book when I was in Japan in 1997 called "All F-4 Phantom of JASDF".  It goes through the *entire* JASDF F-4EJ and RF-4EJ fleet serial by serial with photos, drawings, unit badges, etc.
