This one sat on the shelf 80% finished for a good 5 years.  Got it down, dusted it off and finished it last weekend.

Its the Tamiya 1/48 kit with Cutting Edge decals in the markings of the USN Test pilots school - the last Ford in service!  Was supposedly used by the TPS to train the students in flying an aircraft with poor handling qualities   :o

This machine is now at the USMC A-G musuem in Quantico.

Lovely!!!! I just can't imagine what you'll do with the Anigrand Skylancer...
(question : I know nothing about resin kits, but I fear vacuform canopies. Is there vacuform canopies in anigrands kits???!!!)
King Arthur: Can we come up and have a look?
French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.

Merde! I have to learn making vacuform canopies. I saw a thread on the subject the other day, and it was quite...discouraging!!! Must learn more about that...
