Got to agree with the Radish the Soviet one and the Czech one are stunning
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Radish

It really does look good with a radial.

Now......thinking of all the cross-kitting I can do ;)

If I do a cross-kitty, perhaps my cat could have some Fokker wings? Perhaps not.

Don't you notice how cool models in progress often look?  I don't know why but the sanded putty parts and bits of dissimilar styrene showing through somehow look so realistically weathered.

This is a great start you've got going on.  Pick your final scheme and let me know what you need in the way of markings.  I'll check my stash.  I've probably got Dutch or Finnish decals, too.  And I probably wouldn't know what they look like unless somebody showed me....   :dum:

Is this 1:48 scale?

Feel free to PM me.

Thanks guys,

I have decided on the Soviet one (that way I can use the skis I bought). The book I ordered, "Fokker D.VII-Foreign Colour Schemes" from Blue Rider Publishing just arrived and all I can say is wow :P . It came with decals for most of the profiles in the book.

Barry,

Yes, it's 1/48th scale. Also there is a PM inbound.

P.S.- Here are links to both Blue Rider Publishing and the Soviet profiles I have been looking at.

The Blue Rider Books/decals are terrific.
Got the Foreign Fokker D.VIIs and also the books/decals re. the Estonian, Lithuanian and Latvian Air Forces.
Great stuff.

MUST get on with a D.VII soon. B)
