The Regime of Hugo Chavez of Venezuela is claiming that they are in talks with the Russian government to purchase Su-30MKs. They have already purchased some Mi-35s, Mi-17s, and 150,000 AK-103 assault rifles.

Supposedly he is going to sign the deal when he goes to Moscow late this month.

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez has said that his country will officially ink the deal for the Russian fighter jets when he visits Moscow on July 25.

But Mil's are built like tanks, where as ours are not that stringently constructed (and Mr Chavez aint on our aid list anymore.)

I didn't know which way to go in markings, but it looks like you made a good choice.  Those markings sure do look sweet on that Rafale!

On the other hand you don't need a laptop and windows for maintaining it in the field

As also mentioned Chavez has no real choice he isn't permitted to buy ameican hardware and if he wants to go euro the US jumps in and makes problems because of US components used in that system...look at the Tucano or the CASA deal

Camo was done freehand, no masks.

brilliant job on it.  I prefer free hand as well, becuase even with blue tak, you lose that nice feathered and blended in look.  Looks really great!
