Gervasius

Just to introduce myself.

I am from Croatia, 24 YO, building 2 Zvezda 1/144 Tu-160s

One will be a "standard" Tu-160 in RAAF markings, and another one will be a more radical modification, something like Dale Brown's Megafortress, with external AAMs, V-tail, radar array, etc.

Unfortunately, my digital camera died peacefully in her sleep some weeks ago, so no pictures yet.

Apologies for my bad english!

Regards,
Marko
Baldrick: I followed Mr Da Vinci's instructions to the letter.
Blackadder: Even though you can't actually read.
Baldrick: No, but I have done a lot of Airfix models in my time.

NARSES2

Hi Gervaisius and wellcome

Whats the Zveda kit like ? I've thought about buying one

Chris
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Great kit, excellent to build before tackling Trumpeter's monster.

Fits almost perfectly, but some fit issues with engine nacelles.

Missiles (kh-15s?) are strange.

And cheap, some nice whiff potential (Blackjack Zwilling? hmmm....)

Marko

Hi, welcome.
Your English is great......reads much better than some of the loonies on here!
Those Tu-160s sound interesting....not my scale though.
Narses is better used to ant-sized modelling.

Welcome to the loony bin Gervaisius, your English is very good, and the TU160 idea's you're doing are brilliant.

Wonder what could I do with a RoG 1/48 B-1B? Nah, too expensive to butcher.

Anyone knows where could I get some Russian/Soviet ordnance in 1/144 to hang on my Megablackjack?

Marko

1:144 Russian ordnance: use the Trumpeter 1:144 kits of the Su-27, 33, 35 etc.
Revell also produces an Su-27 and Mig-29, but the weapons on those aren't very accurate.
Or check OzMods, they do a line of 1:144 resin Russian weapons. Their website is offline at the moment, though.

Welcome to the alternate world of styrene.  And I do mean "alternate"!

Sooner or later, these questions will be asked so:

1. What's your favorite beer?
2. How many pink airplanes have you modelled?
3. Do you have any cats?
Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.

Gervasius,

Welcome aboard - your english is fine.

Hopefully you can get access to a camera again soon because your Tu-160's sound cool - what colour scheme are you planning for the RAAF one?  Have you chosen a squadron for it?

Regards,

Greg

Welcome Gevasius you may now be our official delegate to the United Nations of whiffery from the Balkans, way too top heavy with Canadians.

English looks as good as mine.
Just remember to obey the site rules
Rule 1. Do not feed the Canadians.
Rule 2. Have fun.

I invite all and any criticism, except about Eric The Dog, it's not his fault he's stupid
